Any spell's strength can be greatly enhanced by adding the propper color correspondence to it. Color correspondences are easy to learn, and, as you will soon see, very useful in spell crafting.
Below is a basic list of colors and their magickal properties.
It is important to remember that this list is not handed down from the ancients and carved in stone. It is simply the way that many people use these colors. If you feel diferently about a color than I do, go with your gut!
Using colors to amplify the power of your spells is a relitivly easy task to do. For example, if you wanted to cast a spell for money, you would probably add a green candle to spell and (if you can wait) cast it on a day that corresponds with the color green. For example, August 27th, 1998 is a good day for spells that focus on the color green (You can find daily color correspondences on Wiccan Calendar).
You can use colors in ways other than candles. For example, shining a light with a yellow filter on a person can help cure ulsers. When binding a person, you use black ribbon to wrap their representation. Use your imaination to incorporate colors into your spells. They will strengthen all your magickal workings and make you a better Witch.
