It's been said a thousand times before, and you're probably sick of hearing it by now, but as I see it, there is a need here for a word or two on the divinatory arts.

The future is not a strait line, it is something that we can, and do control. Otherwise, how would magick work? Therefore, through different methods of divination we learn the possible outcome of the future as it is now lies. If you don't like what the future may hold for you, then change it.

Another important thing to remember is that there is no all knowing tarot card or company that produces all knowing tarot cards, or runes, or whatever. When working with divination, the vehicle you are using is not the diviner, you are. Divination vehicles simply bring out the psychic power that each and every one of us has. There is no such thing as a psychic with "special powers".

Lastly, the most important factor in any form of divination, whether it be scrying or astrology or tea leaf reading or whatever, is the interpertation. This is why it is best to do readings for yourself. If you do decide to do a reading for another, don't lie to them about the results. If you happen to see that you're friend and his girlfriend may breakup in the near future, tell him so (be cautious of other people's feelings, but don't lie). Tell you're friend "as it looks right now, you should be very careful about you're relationship with Shelia". Obviusly you wouldn't say "yep, you and Sheila are done for, it say's so right here." First of all that would be rude. Secondly it's not necessarily true, if he doesn't want to lose her, then he does have the ability to save the relationship. Also, you can't even tell him that for sure, because for all you know you could be interpreting wrong.

Basically it all works out to one simple rule
Be cautious, be intelligent, and you will prosper
